Zojila ‘Rohan’ Stainless Steel Dish Rack Drainer Utensil holder and Drain board Review

Zojila Rohan Dish RackToss out the cheap plastic dish holder that collects filth and takes the aesthetic appeal of your kitchen down ten notches. Keeping with the modern world and the popularity of stainless steel kitchen appliances, the Zojila Rohan dish rack gives you an attractive new design made completely from stainless steel.

Your kitchen never has to look outdated, cheap, and dirty again! At first glance the price tag is a turn off for some consumers, but when you compare the long term durability of a stainless steel dish rack with the expense of replacing cheap plastic racks over and over and you see that it isn't actually a lot more expensive. You just pay more at one time for a more attractive rack that lasts years rather than months.

If you want to buy Zojila 'Rohan' Stainless Steel Dish Rack Drainer Utensil holder and Drain board, I highly recommend you buy them through Amazon here. You won’t find them cheaper anywhere else.

There are two things that make the Zojila Rohan dish rack so attractive:

1. It never looks dirty or worn out like plastic racks tend to get with time.

2. It has a very unique design that is more functional for dish drying.

This rack remains attractive and very modern in appearance rather than looking dirty and worn out the way plastic racks tend to get in rather short periods of time. It is completely resistant to rust and corrosion and has a very modern, stylish appeal that doesn't go away. It simply looks better than plastic so your kitchen as a whole looks better.

The unique design is the other big feature that grabs the attention of most consumers. Rather than just stacking the plates, bowls and a variety of other dishes on top of one another you have a well thought out design that allows everything to dry in a more efficient, spacious manner.

Let's take a look at features of Zojila 'Rohan' Stainless Steel Dish Rack Drainer Utensil holder and Drain board:

Rather than being box shaped, this rack has an extended section specifically designed for plates. Each plate sits out on the side, delicately placed down in slots designed for their shape specifically. There is also a section beside this where you can place cups or other dishes that don't fit within the plate slots. Nothing is stacked on top of one another and plates are allowed to dry in a more efficient manner.

The design also implements high legs that allow the edge of the rack to dip over the sink. It will work with all sink height sand designs and ensures that all the water draining from your dishes goes into the sink rather than onto your counter. Water often gets trapped beneath plastic racks that sit flat on the counter, but that can't happen with the raised design of the Zojila Rohan rack. The top portion of the rack drains itself completely so you never have to worry about small pools of water on the bottom of the rack.

Worried that you won't be able to dry a large load of dishes at the same time? The Rohan rack can handle more than 50 pieces of silverware at a time! The plate rack will hold up to 13 pieces at a time and the stacking area can hold 8 tumbler-sized glasses.

When you look to consume reviews for opinions on the Rohan rack by Zojila you find that all reviews are glowingly positive. The big complaint is the price since this is substantially more expensive than a plastic dish rack, but consumers are wiling to make the purchase anyway because of the stylish design, the benefit of having a rack that never gets dirty or falls apart, and the unique design that makes dish drying more efficient.

Let me show you what current owners have to say about it.

Marsha Williams,

Truly practical as well as beautiful,

When my dishwasher broke down I went looking for a nice dish rack until I could get it repaired. My existing dish rack was still good but not at all exciting. I read and re-read the reviews on this dish rack for several weeks before I took the plunge and bought it. It was fairly pricey, and I didn't know if it would be big enough.

It definitely is big enough. I especially like its ability to hold bowls and a pie plate on edge. These were hard to fit into my old dish rack. I can fit all my own dishes for a full day's worth of meals, or invite a friend or two and have room enough.

simplehuman Steel Frame Dish Rack Review: Worth the Price Tag?

simplehuman dish rackMost homes today come with a dishwasher; even apartments usually feature dishwashers as an amenity. Even with the common and most preferred dish washing method, there are some who still prefer to wash by hand. Even for those who swear by their dishwasher machines, will employ hand washing to some of the bigger cookware, such as cookie sheets, pots and pans. Depending on how often one cooks in a day and how big the family is, after a while the space inside a dishwasher becomes a bit cramped. Its makes more sense to hand wash the big 6 gallon pot and have more space inside the dishwasher for dirty dishes.

If you want to buy these dish racks, you can get them cheapest online through Amazon here.

Everyone still hand washes cookware to an extent. Because of that, most homes have dish racks. Of course there are several available for purchase but not all are created equal. Some dish racks are a bit unsightly, which can pose a problem to those who spend a great deal of money on their kitchen décor. Then many of the disk racks aren't good for heavy cookware and/bakeware. If they dish rack isn't studier enough, then you risk having the whole rack collapsing. Then there is the leakage issue; many dish racks will leave counters wet. If you don't remove and clean underneath the dish rack on a constant basis, you could end up with smelly mold.

With that said, dish racks can become more of a burden than a solution; that is until simplehuman came up with an ingenious design! The simplehuman paid close attention to all the common issues with dish racks and designed their own that will have you never looking at dish racks the same again.

Let's look at the features of the simplehuman Steel Frame Dish Rack:

Now this dish rack doesn't come cheap, but as the old saying goes - "You get what you paid for." While the simplehuman dish rack comes with a 5 year warranty, this rack has been built to last for a lifetime. For starters, this is the most elegant dish rack every made, its modern design will look good in any kitchen; you have the option between white and grey. Aesthetics aside, this rack is huge and extremely sturdy; measurements are at 15 by 21-2/5 by 8-1/2 inches. You can put all your large cookery in this rack without worry about it collapsing under weight. Plus with the prongs you can adjust it to fit any size cookware or bakeware.

The bamboo knife block is a safe way to dry your knives and the bamboo will prevent the knives from becoming blunted or otherwise damaged. With the 3-way drain spout, the simplehuman dish rack will drain all of the water into the sink - not onto your counter. For fully flexibility there are optional feet to add to the rack in case you need the rack to be raised to drain into your sink.

Simplehuman really went all out on this dish rack. Never has there been so much excitement and satisfaction from a dish rack. Just a quick check on other online consumer reviews will show that simplehuman earned an A+ for its innovative, functional and most elegant dish rack.

Let me show you what current owners have to say about it.

Comdet,

A lot to spend on a dish rack, but worth it,

The title pretty much sums up my feelings about the simplehuman steel frame dish rack. As with all (or at least, all of the ones I've used) simplehuman products, you can see that someone actually put some thought into the design. The tines flip up and down so you have flexibility in racking dishes and pots, there's a flap that extends to catch drips from cups in the side holders (which flip back when not in use to minimize space needs), and a drainage system that funnels water back into the sink. It comes with a set of plastic feet to raise the rack should you have a sink with a tall lip. I don't, so I left them off - looks better that way, and should be easier to keep clean.

The best feature for me is the knife holder. There's a bamboo insert that keeps knifes safe and secure while drying. Finally a place to put good knives without the risk of damaging or blunting the blade (or cutting yourself). Excellent!

Dish Rack

Dish RackEven though many people have dishwashers, there is still a need for a dish rack from time to time to keep up with the random plate or glass that gets used but it may be a while before you have a full load of dishes. Of course, those that don’t have a dishwasher most certainly need a dish rack. Rather than just laying your clean dishes in the second sink of a double sink configuration, a dish rack is necessary for sanitary purposes, as well as air circulation.

There are several types of dish racks to choose from and some are cheap plastic models while others may be stainless steel folding models that are more expensive and sold at gourmet food stores. There are several things to keep in mind when deciding what type of dish rack to buy.

Space:

If you have a double sink, you will want to get a dish rack that will fit in the second sink so you don’t have to take up counter space and worry about water sitting on your cabinets. If you have a single sink, then you might want to get a counter top dish rack, but you will want to be sure it has the drainage mat that has the lip sloped toward the sink so that water will run off into the sink, instead of running all over the cabinets. Another consideration is whether you are going to want a folding dish rack so you can easily store it away when not in use. The only thing is that these can be more expensive and normally don’t come with the drainage tray.

Compartments:

Some of the cheaper dish racks don’t have a silverware or knife holding compartment. This may not be something you think about when you are looking at dish racks, but it sure keeps you from rewashing silverware over and over after it has fallen through the open slots of the dish rack and into the dirty sink bottom.

Materials:

Some people care whether the dish rack is made from plastic, rubber, wood or stainless steel. This is a matter of personal preference and obviously plastic is cheaper than the other materials. Depending on the type of dish rack you are getting, you may have limited selections of materials.

Construction:

Make sure that the dish rack has deep enough slots for standing plates vertically. This helps them to air dry better and prevents breakage from them falling over like a stack of dominoes. Some of the cheaper plastic dish racks don’t make deep enough or strong enough troughs for stacking china plates. It is worth the investment for a more expensive dish rack to keep from breaking your favorite or heirloom chinaware.

Shopping:

Once you have decided on the type, size, budget and construction for the dish rack you need, it’s time to try to find a suitable model. The more expensive, better constructed dish racks can be found at specialty kitchen stores while the cheaper, plastic models are available at the dollar stores or big retailers. Finding the dish rack that is most suitable for your situation may take a little time, but it is worth it in convenience in the long run.
